our {WEDDING}

As we were planning our wedding, I (Ashlee, of course) feel in love with a wedding blog called Style Me Pretty. After our wedding, I had intentions of submitting our wedding to be featured on the website. I even wrote the description that was needed back in November. The combination of not really knowing how to submit the large filed photos & feeling a little vain led me to never actually do it. Then a couple months ago Seth Snider, our photographer & friend, emailed me saying he submitted our wedding to Style Me Pretty (hmm... that's a "coincidence"!) and they wanted to feature our wedding but needed the description from us! I was amazed and overly ecstatic over this "coincidence" although that's not what I like to call it! I  think it's a little smile from God... just a reminder that He's involved and cares about even the silliest & smallest things!

Happy ONE year!

May 1st was our ONE year anniversary! & we both still have smiles on our faces! Through the ups & the downs, God has been good to us!! Glad to still be best friends :)

we booked our tickets

After keeping an eye on flights for the last few weeks, we've booked our tickets!!

Our offical departure date is JULY 18! Philadelphia to Dallas/Fort Worth to Brisbane, Australia with Qantas Airlines. We're excited to try this new flight route since it takes out the flight we dread the most, Philly to LAX. Maybe we'll save a few hours on the normal- 24-30 hour trip!! Wouldn't that be nice :)

to ship {OR} not to ship

... that is our question. To ship our house stuff or not?? We are selling/have sold most of our furniture and bigger home goods. However, we were planning on making a shipment of our plates, cups, cooking ware, dishes, towels, blankets, favorite home decor pieces, bathroom stuff, deodorant(it's hard to find solid deodorant, mostly spray or roll on), tooth paste (no Crest in Oz :( )... but now we are realizing it could get quit expensive and be a bit of a headache, all of a bunch of "stuff".

SO... as we re-evaluate, we would greatly appreciate your PRAYERS! With the airline we are looking at flying with, we can pre-pay for "Additional Baggage". This option is now appearing to be the cheaper maybe wiser route.

PRAY that we would have WISDOM, that we would detach from all the THINGS & STUFF in our lives and be okay with leaving some things behind until another trip. Maybe when someone comes to visit they could bring some pieces with them.
